I like to use it without the water. Just the powder. At my age subtle is better. Love it. Excellent product. Highly recommend.

APPLICATION
Wet the tip of your eyeliner brush and then touch it into color and then line eyes.
Tip: If your brush is to wet, wipe off excess water and then touch back into color.

RE: cake eyeliner I used cake eyeliner when I was in my 20’s back in the 60’s. After using Michael’s eyeliner I now question myself as to why I ever stopped using it. This is a lovely product. It’s easy to use - especially after watching Michael’s YouTube (was it YouTube or FB?) on how to apply. The liner makes a soft, pretty smudgy line that I like. It also is easy to make a sharper, more defined line if i choose, making it versatile. It stays on all day but washes off easily. Don’t forget to order the brush. It’s great!

Not dark enough for a liner!
Nice product and stays on all day. It goes on thick with the brush it comes with so I had to purchase a thinner eyeliner brush. I prefer the cake eyeliner compacts that have the brush enclosed in the compact in case you need to reapply. Very small in size for the money you pay.
Avon sold some similar eyeliner in the 90's, which they discontinued. Happy to have found cake eyeliner again. Makes soft muted lines which I prefer or bolder lines if that is what you like. And it is more forgiving than liquid liner pens. Easy on and easy off. I also purchased espresso cake eyeliner which I am also pleased with.
I have been looking for a good easy eyeliner and started thinking about the old days when we had cake eyeliner and presto here was yours. Yours is better and doesnt wash off as easily. Great product

The cake eyeliner is great. It’s only the brush I’m not crazy about. I find the tip is larger than ideal for me. I’ve been using a brush with a smaller tip from an old Elizabeth Arden cake liner.
This is very close to my beloved clinique cake eyeliner that was discontinued. You can use this as a thin line or heavy. Love the color choices!
Eyeliner is long wearing and very easy to apply! I was a Clinique caked eyeliner user for over 20 years and was very sad to see the caked eyeliner discontinued! Well, this eyeliner from MM is even better!! Love it!!
I have been looking for years for this type liner. I LOVE IT! Easy to use, and for me, stays on perfectly!
I love the cake eye liner, but when I originally bought it over a year or so ago from Amazon (and it was not as good as the recent ones I bought from you)it came with a very thin black handled brush that is so perfect for applying the liner. I need a very thin line and I have a hand that is a little shaky, and so the bigger brushes do not work with it. Do you have those thin brushes?
Great cake liner , bought 2 mat colors don’t like too much sparkly eye makeup too old ! Would buy other colors in mat if you had them , will enjoy these
Michael, I like the eyeliner but the color espresso goes on with very little color. It needs more depth in color. It doesn't stay on for long period of time. Just telling the truth. Linda Cebulski

I like how easily this liner goes on my older crepey eyelids. Its looks nice and i have more control with this brush and liner than all the pencils ive bought. I also like color selection. Maybe Mr. marcus would think sbout making an eyepencil rhat is soft enough to apply to older eye lids too.

It is not easy to find a good cake eyeliner. This one is IT!!! Don’t hesitate to try the color amethyst. It’s a dark, dark purple that looks Great with all eye colors. Great product!
